You can also count on me to have conversations with, as I am extremely vocal! I will meow and chatter at you whenever I am happy to see you. I will obviously meow in displeasure whenever you are not touching me where I prefer you to. I am not too fond of you going too close to my tail. Sticking to my head, cheeks, ears, chin, and chest is the way to go. Throw some on some soft crinkle toys and mice, and watch me go to town! I will even howl from the next room over to let you know I have my preferred toy in my mouth and that it is mine! Since I am a Tortie, I definitely have my preferred spots of being touched. I will even come up if you are laying down on the couch and meow at you until you let me lay down on your chest. Winter especially, so I can steal some of your body heat and stay nice and warm. I also have what you may think of as a ""Bandit Face"" as my dark face lines up perfectly with my top jaw! Have you ever seen another kitty like me! I'm really hoping that I can find another home that loves me for me. I can look down on everything and it makes me feel like royalty. Truth be told, I just like to be perched up high. I mentioned earlier that some of my favorite spots to hang out are in the various cat trees in my communal. I am a pretty confident cat and I'll be sure to let you know when I don't like something! My human friends here tell me that a strong-willed cat is full of personality, and I like to think that describes me fairly accurately. I'll jump down from my favorite cat tree to greet them and spend my time soaking up the pets and rubbing up against their legs. I'm definitely more about being around my people though, that's for sure! I have made quite a few human friends here at the shelter, and I can get pretty excited when they come to visit me. My owner had a two-year-old and they said I was tolerant of sharing my space with the tiny human. I did live in the home with a dog, but again mostly just preferred my independent lifestyle. I am indifferent about being in the same communal with them, but I mostly just stick to myself. I was never around any other cats until I came to stay here at the shelter. I was found at a pretty young age and had only ever had the one home in my life. I ended up having to come to Stray Haven when my owner could no longer keep me.
